The Summer Tote Bags will be on Display on the Relief Society Board this Sunday June 21.
There will be an All-Day Tote Bag That is durable and practical. It will take a day or two to complete but it is well worth the effort. The tote's exterior is made of a heavy- yet durable- Blue Jean fabric and the interior lining is made of a cute light-weight Daisy print fabric. It has multiple pockets inside and out to hold anything you want to put in it. This bag has it all! There are plenty of pockets for all your different needs through out the day: keys, cell phone, change, the morning paper, the Ensign, your favorite book, towels, swimsuits, sunglasses, and sunscreen for a trip to the pool with the kids or grandkids.
There will also be a Simple Tote Bag on display. The Simple Tote Bag is a very easy project that can easily be made in an hour or two. It's made of chocolate brown and a mint green light-weight designer fabric that is eye catchy and stylish. It's complete with a front pocket and a cute bow.You can never have too many tote bags. Especially after you discover how easy they are to sew. Combining different fabrics and experimenting with various sizes will give you endless possibilities: a book bag, a knitting tote, a gym carryall, a catch all for the car-and it makes a marvelous customized gift for anyone.
*Both Summer Tote bags will also be on Display with Free patterns, sewing instructions, and a supply list at the Quilting Group Classes:
(Wed.) June 24, 10:30-11:30am at the church
(Thur.) June 25, 6:30pm at the Pavillion
